Deutsche Welle (Editorial)
From 2016 to 2018, I worked as a freelance journalist for Deutsche Welle, which is a taxpayer-funded international news organization operating out of Germany.
I was primarily a script writer for their "DW ingame" YouTube format (sadly, all episodes have been pulled after the shutdown of their esports endeavors). I also contributed several pieces to the DW news platform in both German and English.
DW doesn't have a pretty embed function, so I'll just leave a few links here:

Writing for Deutsche Welle was a tricky task, since their audience is primarily "regular folk" with little to no connection to esports and gaming. It's an established and mainstream news publication and we were tasked with bringing them esports news in a digestible way. My video piece on Rainbow Six: Siege was shelved eventually because we couldn't get past the hurdle of showing video game violence... what was I supposed to do, only show drone gameplay?!
