The Last Queens Aftermovie
Oh, what a sad affair! After four years of national competition for female VALORANT, RIOT's most recent changes to the ecosystem have effectively forced the closure of much of the German VALORANT circuit. We knew going into this event that this would probably be the last national LAN event for the foreseeable future. We ended up going home with the trophy. So it's a bittersweet goodbye, but I feel like we've done it justice.
It didn't feel right to turn this into another movie spoof (believe me, I had ideas!), but I still wanted to elevate my production just a little bit. In the end, I opted to put one of my cameras into the coach room and capture all of their reactions and interactions with the players. It's a nice little detail that adds welcome depth to the viewing experience. I'd love to get the players' comms onto the screen too if there's ever another chance!
And, of course, I couldn't help myself and wound up spinning up another Cinema 4D project to create a pretty outro to this movie!
